Last month's G1 Pretty Polly S. winner Diamondsandrubies (Ire) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}) has been removed from consideration for Saturday's G1 Irish Oaks, for which she was favorite. The 3-year-old Aidan O'Brien trainee is possible for the G1 Nassau S. at Goodwood Aug. 1.

Diamondsandrubies's removal leaves 16 eligible for the Curragh Classic, including seven trained by Aidan O'Brien, headed by G1 Epsom Oaks winner Qualify (Ire) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}); last year's G1 Fillies' Mile victress Together Forever (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and G3 Munster Oaks winner Words (Ire) (Dansili {GB}), unbeaten in two outings. O'Brien said which will run, “will all depend on how they are working and what way the ground will be–there is a little bit of rain hanging around–some of them would like it nice and some of them would like it on the soft side. A mile and a half should suit Together Forever well; Qualify is a possible depending on ground and work and Words is a filly that has only had two runs–she won her Group 3 at Cork nicely.”

G1 Irish 1000 Guineas winner Pleascach (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}) is another high-profile entry, and two were supplemented Tuesday: last month's G2 Ribblesdale S. scorer Curvy (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and Listed Hoppings S. winner Covert Love (Ire) (Azamour {Ire}).
