Browse gained 'TDN Rising Star' status in her debut at Aqueduct Sunday afternoon. The Phipps homebred, who was given a 9-1 chance for trainer Shug McGaughey, stalked in midpack early, but steadily moved closer to the leaders from three wide down the backstretch. Browse continued to make substantial progress as she circled the field heading into the bend and bid for the lead turning for home. The dark bay poked a head in front at the top of the lane and cruised home down the stretch to win by an easy 6 1/4 lengths. Anydayismyday (Afleet Alex) completed the exacta. Browse is out of MGSW & MGISP Daydreaming, making her a half-sibling to millionaire turfer Imagining (Giant's Causeway), GISW, $1,177,394; and Reflecting (Elusive Quality), MSP, $296,123. Daydreaming is out of graded stakes winner Get Lucky (Mr. Prospector) and is a full-sibling to Grade I winner Girolamo and GSW & GISP Accelerator. Get Lucky is a full-sibling to champion Rhythm and Not For Love. This is also the family of GI Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver (Maria's Mon); GSW Bretheren (Distorted Humor); GISW Got Lucky (A.P. Indy); GISW Bluegrass Cat (Storm Cat); and GSW Dramedy (Distorted Humor). Daydreaming is also responsible for a yearling filly by Distorted Humor and a weanling filly by War Front.
