The attractive bay secured a stalking trip just off of even-money chalk Unbridled Summer (Broken Vow) from the bell, as that rival set a swift first-quarter split of :22.28, but seized a narrow advantage shortly thereafter. The Bob Baffert trainee began to pull clear leaving the bend, but Unbridled Summer cut the corner and drew almost back to even terms in upper stretch. Lemhill Basr, out of GI Hollywood Starlet S. heroine Diplomat Lady, surged away from that rival inside the final 100 yards to graduate by 4 1/4 lengths.
