Breaking from the rail as the 1-5 favorite, the bay was away sharply, making the lead in the first few strides before opening up four lengths through a :22.57 quarter-mile. With stalking Fashion Bid (Old Fashioned) getting a bit closer into the stretch, the $350,000 KEESEP yearling buy was given the slightest of urging to blast away from her rival in the final furlong and romp by 7 3/4 lengths in track record time of :50.85 for the 4 1/2 furlongs. The winner’s dam was Horse of the Year and Champion imported 3-year-old filly in Puerto Rico before capturing the GII Rampart H. in the United States, while her second dam was twice made Champion imported older mare in Puerto Rico.
