The catalogue for the Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale is now available online with hard copies released this Wednesday. The sale takes place Apr. 17-19 and 152 2-year-olds have been entered for the auction that has produced an impressive 34 group and listed winners since 2014, including Group 1 winner Ventura Storm (Ire) (Zoffany {Ire}) and multiple Group 2 winner Mehmas (Ire) (Acclamation {GB}). This year's catalogue is unique in that it features the only colt by Frankel (GB) to be offered at a British breeze-up sale in 2017 and the only juvenile by Japanese champion sire Deep Impact (Jpn) ever offered at a 2-year-old in training sale in Europe.
The Japanese bred filly, offered by Malcolm Bastard as lot 63, is out of the regally bred winning Sadler's Wells mare Soinlovewithyou, herself a three parts and half-sister to multiple Group 1 winners Ruler Of The World (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and Duke Of Marmalade (Ire) (Danehill). The solitary Frankel offering is consigned by Con Marnane's Bansha House Stables as lot 17 and is out of a half-sister to Cape Blanco (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), a MG1SW in both Ireland and America.
In total, the catalogue features 24 2-year-olds out of stakes winning mares, including lot 105, a colt by Declaration Of War (War Front) out of Group 2 winner Behkara (Ire) (Kris {GB}), making him a half-brother to Group 1 winner Behkabad (Fr) (Cape Cross {Ire}); and a colt from Tally-Ho Stud, lot 58, out of GI Personal Ensign S. winner Shadow Cast from the first crop of GI Kentucky Derby and G1 Dubai World Cup winner Animal Kingdom (Leroidesanimaux). There are also a further 24 own or half-brothers and sisters to stakes winners, including lot 79 an Oasis Dream (GB) half-brother to Group 1 winning 2-year-old Morandi (Fr) (Holy Roman Emperor {Ire}) and lot 145 a colt by Dark Angel (Ire), who is a half-brother to Group 1 winning 2-year -old Zafisio (Ire) (Efisio {GB}). An international line up of sires is represented in the catalogue and apart from the usual top Irish and British based stallions, there are also lots by Siyouni (Fr), Le Havre (Ire), Kendargent (Fr), Uncle Mo, Scat Daddy, Bernardini and Kitten's Joy among others.
The largest consignment of horses comes from Willie Browne's Mocklershill which has 14 juveniles catalogued, with Irish counterpart Bansha House Stables next best with a draft of 12. Last year's sale topping consignor Oaks Farm Stables brings four 2-year-olds to the sale, while the largest British-based team comes from previous sale –topping consignor Malcolm Bastard, who has nine lots to represent him.
Buyers looking to benefit from a number of enticing incentives are also well catered for with 13 lots signed up to the £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus, three with an entry in the
€300,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction S. and 52 which are Plus 10 qualified. In addition there are 12 juveniles qualified for French Owners' Premiums.

All lots will breeze on Newmarket's Rowley Mile Racecourse on Monday, Apr. 17 starting at 9:00 a.m. local time and the sale will take place the following two evenings after the day's racing at Newmarket's Craven meeting.
