Hip 345, a Medaglia d'Oro colt out of the A.P. Indy mare Apt, brought $900,000 from Eddie Plesa for Karl and Cathi Glassman early in Wednesday's second session of the OBS March sale. Seated with the Glassmans and his wife Laurie, Plesa signed the ticket on the half-brother to GSW & GISP Carve (First Samurai), GSP Sloane Avenue (Candy Ride {Arg}) and GISP Apropos (First Samurai). Hip 345 breezed a furlong in :10 2/5 at last week's breeze show. The colt was consigned by Stephens Thoroughbreds LLC, Agent I.
