Union Rags Colt Summons $900K

A colt by GI Belmont S. winner Union Rags hammered for $900,000 Wednesday afternoon when selling to bloodstock agent Steve Young. Bred in Kentucky by Fred W. Hertrich III and John D. Fielding, Hip 488 is out of Delightfully So (Indian Charlie), a half-sister to Canadian champion Delightful Mary (Limehouse) and MGSW & GISP Delightful Kiss (Kissin Kris). The bay, who breezed in :10 flat, was consigned here by Hal Hatch's Halcyon Hammock Farm, Agent III. Hatch purchased the colt for just $90,000 at Keeneland September.
