RYTHMIQUE (IRE) (f, 3, Casamento {Ire}–Reclamation {Ire}, by Red Ransom), who scored over 9 1/2 furlongs on the Polytrack at Deauville in December, was sent off the 13-10 favourite and was steadied towards the back of the tightly-packed field throughout the early stages. Making smooth progress to enter contention leaving the back straight, the €52,000 GOFORB yearling was left in front as Kensai (Fr) (Jukebox Jury {Ire}) veered right approaching the final furlong and although she jinked that way herself soon asserted to win with authority by 1 1/2 lengths. The dam, who has a 2-year-old filly by Excelebration (Ire) named Exploitation (Ire) and a yearling filly by Helmet (Aus), is a half-sister to four black-type performers headed by the G1 Irish Oaks heroine Vintage Tipple (Ire) (Entrepreneur {GB}). Further back are the GII American Derby-winning sire Overbury (Ire) and the G1 Melbourne Cup and dual G1 Irish St Leger winner Vintage Crop (Ire) (Rousillon). Lifetime Record: 3-2-1-0, €33,000. Video, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
