The Thoroughbred Club will offer a new bursary fund for its full members that will provide grant aid for professional development. The bursary will enable full members of the club to submit an application for a grant of up to £500 to fund an educational course or continued professional development activity that will allow them to develop or further their career in the breeding industry.
Harry Williams, chairman of TTC, said, “One of the central aims of The Thoroughbred Club is to help members establish and develop their career within the breeding and racing industry and we are always looking for ways in which we can better support members to achieve their aspirations. By introducing our new bursary we are not only able to build on the success of last year's Careers Course, but we are committing to the long-term support of the industry's next generation.”
