Saeed Bin Suroor unleashed a trio of exciting colts at Doncaster last weekend in TDN Rising Star Benbatl (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), Dream Castle (GB) (Frankel {GB) and Bin Battuta (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) and as one would expect, loftier targets await all three in the coming weeks. “The three of them won their races really well. Benbatl is doing good and won really easily. Dream Castle did well winning by the best part of four lengths and Bin Battuta ran really well. We'll probably take them to the Craven meeting. We'll see how they go and then make a decision,” said the trainer on Tuesday. All three are regally bred, Benbatl being out of Group 1 winner Nahrain (GB) (Selkirk), Dream Castle out of Group 2 winner Sand Vixen (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) and Bin Battuta being a half-brother to MG1SW and sire Dream Ahead (Diktat) so each has plenty to live up to on pedigree. They each have multiple Classic entries and though they have masses of potential Suroor is not getting carried away in these early stages. “All three are nice but we need to see them run against better horses,” he conceded.
