WONDER SETTLER (c, 3, Super Saver–S. S. Miracle, by Seattle Slew) finished a midpack sixth on his Mar. 11 debut at Chukyo, but improved for that effort to fight on for a brave second from gate 14 over this course and distance Mar. 26 (video). With a better draw this time in nine, the half-brother to SW & GSP Spin Master (Distorted Humor) is poised to break through and is the 2-1 favorite ante-post. Wonder Settler hails from the extended female family of MGSW & MGISPs Top Rung (Seattle Slew) and Gray Cashmere (Relaunch) and Repriced (Roberto). B-Meg & Mike Buckley (KY)
