StarLadies Racing will be hosting a Girls Night Out fundraiser Monday, Apr. 24 with the proceeds going to benefit the Backside Learning Center at Churchill Downs.
The event will be held at Porcini Restaurant in Louisville and will run from 6:00-7:00 p.m. It will feature NBC's on-track reporter Donna Barton Brothers, Daily Racing Form's Mike Welsch and former Courier-Journal horse racing reporter Jennie Rees, who will be discussing betting strategies and selections for this year's GI Kentucky Oaks and GI Kentucky Derby.
The cost to attend the event is $30 at the door and includes complimentary appetizers and a drink on the house. There will also be a special gift to all those in attendance courtesy of StarLadies Racing.
All profits will go to the Backside Learning Center (BLC) which has been an integral source of educational opportunities and other resources to backstretch employees since doors opened in 2004.
