Saddled with a seven-pound penalty for her success in the G1 Prix Vermeille at Chantilly in September, the Wertheimers's Left Hand (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) has a lot on her plate as she reappears in Tuesday's G2 Prix Corrida at Saint-Cloud. Also second in the G1 Prix de Diane there in June and successful in Deauville's G3 Prix de Psyche in July, the chestnut wound up 12th in the G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in October which may have been one effort too many. Luca Cumani sends over the Listed Prix Dahlia winner Rosental (GB) (Pivotal {GB}), while the Apr. 2 Listed Prix Zarkava first and second That Which Is Not (Elusive Quality) and Armande (Ire) (Sea the Stars {Ire}) reoppose for the third time. Just a neck separated them in that course-and-distance contest, but the latter had the call next time when she was second and the Niarchos homebred was fourth behind The Black Princess (Fr) (Iffraaj {GB}) in the G3 Prix Allez France over 10 furlongs here Apr. 30.
