Successful in last year's G2 Prix du Gros-Chene, Yves Borotra's Son Cesio (Fr) (Zafeen {Fr}) returns to Chantilly on Sunday to bid for the repeat. Beaten just twice at this track in seven visits, his latest eclipse came when a respectable fifth coming from too far back in the G1 Prix de l'Abbaye in October and he was warmed up for this easier task with a fourth in Deauville's G2 Prix de Saint-Georges on May 13. He encounters the 2015 winner of this race in Muthmir (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}), whose form has dipped subsequently and he has to find marked improvement off a latest 12th in the G3 Palace House S. at Newmarket on May 6. Also here is the 2014 Gros-Chene scorer Rangali (GB) (Namid {GB}), who was fifth in the Prix de Saint-Georges three weeks ago, and they all make for a stern challenge for the 3-year-old filly Aladdine (GB) (Naaqoos {GB}), who took the May 11 G3 Prix Texanita at Maisons-Laffitte.
