Declarationoflove (Ire) (Declaration of War), who provided both his sire and his trainer with their first winner when getting off the mark at Windsor in May, is headed for Royal Ascot's Listed Windsor Castle S., according to trainer Tom Clover.
“I don't like the idea of having to carry a penalty in a novice, and conditions races can get quite ugly so we are going for the Windsor Castle,” Clover explained. “He won £15,000 for winning a Plus 10 bonus race so why not go have a day out?”
“He was Declaration Of War's first winner and our first winner,” Clover added. “He was a horse that was bought on spec and was sold to some good friends of mine. It is lovely that they are going to have a day out at Royal Ascot in the Winsdor Castle.”
