Qatar Airways, which staged its inaugural flight from Doha to Dublin on June 12, has entered into a partnership with The Curragh. Made possible by Qatari businessman and Kilfrush Stud owner Mubarak Al Naemi, the partnership includes the sponsorship of G2 Qatar Airways Sapphire S. on July 15 and the G3 Qatar Airways Royal Whip S. on Aug. 20 as part of a Qatar-themed raceday, which will also feature the inaugural running of the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club Curragh S.
Evan Arkwright, commercial manager of The Curragh, commented, “The Curragh is delighted to have the opportunity to work with one of the world's leading airlines at a very important time for the racecourse to develop key partnerships with premium global brands. I would like to thank Mr Al Naemi for helping to facilitate this initiative, which will further strengthen and enhance the important links we have with the Gulf region.”
