Legendary jockey and racing analyst Richard Migliore will join XBTV as an East Coast correspondent starting immediately with the Saratoga meet, XBTV announced through a video on their website Wednesday.
“I'll be boots on the ground all during the Saratoga meet,” Migliore said in the video. “I'll be out in the mornings, getting work outs, talking to trainers, talking to jockeys. I'll be providing my insights from what I see and inside information from what I hear. It's going to be fun, especially at Saratoga.
A winner of 4,000 races during his riding career, Migliore spent the past six years working for the New York Racing Association, providing daily on-site analysis, and retired from that position July 8.
