Raydiance improved off a May 23 debut second going six panels at Nottingham to break through over the same trip at Haydock last time June 9, and stepped forward once more to register a career high in this black-type bow. Settled at the tail of the field through halfway, she cruised into contention approaching the final quarter mile and was driven out once gaining a narrow advantage with 1 1/2 furlongs remaining to deny Another Batt in a thrilling bobber.
Raydiance is the sole performer to date out of Iridescence (GB) (Dutch Art {GB}), and is kin to a yearling filly by Equiano (Fr) and a colt foal by Champs Elysees (GB). Her third dam Irish Light (Irish River {Fr}), who produced GSW G1 Haydock Sprint Cup runner-up Strath Burn (GB) (Equiano {Fr}), is a winning half to GIII Regret S. and GIII Noble Damsel H. placegetter Solar Bound (Boundary), Listed Henry Gee Fillies' S. third Kondakova (Ire) (Soviet Star) and to the winning dam of G2 Futurity S. victor First Cornerstone (Ire) (Hurricane Run {Ire}).
