+EQTIDAAR (IRE) (c, 2, Invincible Spirit {Ire}–Madany {Ire}, by Acclamation {GB}), was well away to race on the front end from the outset of this first go. Nudged into an outright lead with 1 1/2 furlongs remaining, the 6-4 favourite was pushed out in the latter stages to comfortably best Mountain Guard (Ire) (Society Rock {Ire}) by 2 1/2 lengths. The homebred bay is the third scorer from as many foals to race out of Madany (Ire) (Acclamation {GB}) and is a half-brother to G1 2000 Guineas and G1 Dewhurst S. runner-up Massaat (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}) and a yearling colt by Kodiac (GB). Madany is a winning half-sister to MSW Zeiting (Ire) (Zieten), who produced five black-type performers headed by GSW G1 Caulfield Cup second Scottish (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}) and is the granddam of this year's G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches heroine Precieuse (Ire) (Tamayuz {GB}).
