Johnny Eves, a three-year-old from the first crop of Skimming, earned the first stakes victory of his career in style with a good-looking upset victory in yesterday's GI Malibu S. Johnny Eves is the first graded stakes winner for the Nureyev stallion Skimming, two-time winner of the GI Pacific Classic.
