The bay stalked Spanky Fischbein (Hook and Ladder) until the stretch, then drove past to take the $75,000 Count Fleet S. at Aqueduct by a half-length at odds of 5-2. Roman Emperor (Empire Maker), the 2-1 choice, was third.
