Champion Stellar Wind (Curlin), with Hall fo Famer Victor Espinoza aboard, covered six furlongs in 1:13.60 (6/19) Saturday morning with an eye towards the GI Breeders' Cup Distaff at Del Mar Nov. 3. A winner of all three of her starts in Grade I company this year–most recently in the GI Clement L. Hirsch S. at Del Mar July 30–the Hronis Racing colorbearer worked alongside stablemate That's a Lady (City Zip) in what was her penultimate breeze in Arcadia before she ships south. “It was a good work for her,” Espinoza said. “The track was a little slow so the time was good. She's getting ready. She's going in the right direction right now and she's doing good.”
