Twirl Supplemented to Keeneland November

Stakes winner and Irish group-placed Twirl (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}–Butterfly Cove, by Storm Cat), a full-sister to champion Misty for Me (Ire) and G1 1000 Guineas winner Ballydoyle (Ire), has been supplemented to the upcoming Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. The 8-year-old mare, who will sell in foal to Curlin, will be consigned to the auction by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency.
“Twirl represents a unique opportunity to purchase a stakes-winning, graded-quality mare by the world's leading sire, Galileo, from arguably the most prolific current pedigree in the world,” Hill 'n' Dale President John G. Sikura said. “Twirl is a full-sister to champion Ballydoyle and to Misty For Me, who is the dam this year of three-time Group 1 winner Roly Poly and U S Navy Flag, recent winner of the G1 Middle Park and G1 Dewhurst S. Twirl produced a beautiful filly by Tapit in 2017 and is in foal to leading sire Curlin. I don't think there will be another mare presented at auction anywhere with this much quality and current relevance in Group 1 racing. She is a jewel.”
Twirl's dam Butterfly Cove is a half-sister to Fasliyev and her full-sister Misty for Me produced last Saturday's G1 Dewhurst winner U S Navy Flag (War Front), as well as multiple Group 1 winner Roly Poly (War Front).

The Keeneland November sale runs from Nov. 7 through 18.
