Creachadoir Sidelined

Godolphin's Creachadoir (Ire) (King's Best), winner of the G1 Lockinge S., suffered a fracture to his off-fore Wednesday morning while preparing for next week's G1 Queen Anne S. The four-year-old will miss the remainder of the racing season. “It's a real blow as he'd worked fantastically well,” Godolphin Racing Manager Simon Crisford told Racing Post. “He came back and he was sound and it wasn't until he cooled down that we found he was lame. An investigation revealed the fracture. It's so disappointing as he'd shown himself recently to be top-class and he was due to be our flagship horse for the Royal meeting.”
