Nobiz Like Shobiz to Darby Dan

Last year's GI Wood Memorial S. winner Nobiz Like Shobiz (Albert the Great–Nightstorm, by Storm Cat), a homebred for Elizabeth Valando, will enter stud at Darby Dan Farm in 2009. “We are excited to have Nobiz Like Shobiz join our roster,” said Darby Dan owner John Phillips. “He was a top two-year-old–winning the Remsen S. and then went on to have a Grade I career on both dirt and turf,” continued Phillips. “He is attractive to a very broad spectrum of breeders. His size, precociousness and adaptability to all surfaces will make him very popular.” The four-year-old, who retires with career earnings of $1,544,730, also captured last year's GII National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame S., GII Jamaica H., GIII Kent Breeders' Cup, and GIII Holy Bull S. His fee will be determined at a later date.
