Less than five years ago, he says, the survival of the Sadler's Wells branch of the Northern Dancer sire line was very much in question. Today, it is anything but that, and his sire sons, including Galileo, Montjeu and High Chaparral, dot the list of leading stallions based on APEX ratings.
