A charity auction held by Fox Hill Farm is underway, in which they will put an array of memorabilia from their dual champion Songbird (Medaglia d'Oro) up for bidding to benefit the MidAtlantic Horse Rescue, Kentucky Equine Humane Center, Saratoga Warhorse and New Vocations charities. The auction kicked off Tuesday at 5 p.m. EST and will run until Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. EST.
The items from the recently retired 4-year-old filly's racing career include the Fox Hill silks worn during her GI Alabama S. victory, the saddle towel from her GI Ogden Phipps S. triumph, her halter and sets of horseshoes from several of her signature wins.
