Tapit Mare Yields $1.8 million at KEENOV

Hip 316, Royal Obsession (Tapit) realized a $1.8 million final bid from the busy Don Alberto Corp. at Keeneland today. Offered in foal to Curlin, the grey was consigned by Hill 'n' Dale sales Agency, agent. The four-year-old's dam–Rote (by Tiznow)–is a half sister to Grade I winner Magnificent Song (Unbridled's Song). The graded placed mare brought $1.15 million at this venue in 2015 and $1 million at the Fasig Tipton Saratoga sale in 2014.
