Shaken up at the top of the straight, the 6-4 chalk moved into second entering the final eighth and ran on well under late urging to deny Profound (Ire) (Intello {Ger}) by a head nearing the line. The bay is the latest foal and the eighth scorer produced by the stakes-placed Mandellicht (Ire) (Be My Guest), and is therefore kin to multiple highweight and MG1SW sire Manduro (Ger) (Monsun {Ger}) and the stakes-winning G1 Preis der Diana third Mandela (Ger) (Acatenango {Ger}), who in turn is the dam of MGSW G1 Satsuki Sho-Japanese 2000 Guineas runner-up World Ace (Jpn) (Deep Impact {Jpn}).
