Golden Gate Sees Handle Gains for Fall Meet

Golden Gate Fields says it saw significant increases in all-sources handle (12%) and on-track handle (8%) for its recently concluded 2017 fall meet. “We're very pleased with the performance of this meet,” said Golden Gate general manager David Duggan. “We're also absolutely thrilled that our loyal fans come out to support this game in which we all have such a strong passion for. A lot of credit goes to the hard work of our horsemen, jockeys, and dedicated team.” Juan Hernandez led all riders with 38 wins, while trainer John Martin edged out Jonathan Wong 21-20.
