Oaklawn Park has announced it will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. in Oaklawn's Post Parade Restaurant Thursday, Feb. 4. The announcement fuels speculation of a possible match-up between Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra (Medaglia d'Oro) and champion older mare Zenyatta (Street Cry {Ire}). Among possibilities is Oaklawn's marquee event for older fillies, the Apr. 3 GI Apple Blossom H.
