As mentioned in Sunday's TDN report on Twice Over's repeat victory in the Emirates Airline Champion S., 2010 is proving the most successful campaign for Juddmonte Farms since 2003. With a current total of 16 Grade 1/Group 1 victories, Prince Khalid is only two short of his total of 18 in 2003, when he was leading owner both in Britain and France and earned the breeder's Eclipse Award for a third consecutive year.
An interesting aspect of his success in each of these bumper years is the part played by Juddmonte's former stallion Distant View, who was pensioned at the age of 15 in 2006.
