GI Kentucky Derby hero Super Saver (Maria's Mon–Supercharger, by A.P. Indy) will stand for $20,000 when he goes to stud at WinStar Farm in Lexington for 2011. “We've had overwhelming response since announcing Super Saver's retirement, and we felt at $20,000 he would be placed in the market to have a strong first book of mares, while also providing good value to breeders,” said WinStar President and CEO Elliott Walden. “When you take into account that he was a record-setting two-year-old, the Derby winner, and hails from the hottest active family in the stud book, there isn't another horse entering stud around that price that can match his credentials.”
