Inglis's Broodmare and Weanling Sale, which will bring to a close its April lineup of sales also including the Easter yearling sale and Chairman's sales, has 649 lots catalogued, comprised of 483 broodmares and 166 weanlings. The sale takes place Apr. 15 to 17 at Riverside Stables.
The weanlings include offerings by leading sires like I Am Invincible (Aus) and Written Tycoon (Aus), as well as the progeny of accomplished sires Choisir (Aus), So You Think and Star Witness. The sale also provides an opportunity to see how the market reacts to the first-crop foals of horses like Horse of the Year Criterion (NZ), G1 Doncaster H. winner Kermadec (NZ), Group 1-winning 2-year-old Press Statement (Aus) and champion 2-year-old Vancouver (Aus).
The catalogue includes mares in foal to the likes of Lonhro (Aus), Medaglia d'Oro, More Than Ready, Vancouver, Choisir and Hinchinbrook (Aus) as well as first-crop covering sires like Winning Rupert (Aus), Maurice (Jpn) and Extreme Choice (Aus).
