Ken and Sarah Ramsey were named outstanding owner at Monday's Eclipse Awards, while Frank Stronach's Adena Springs was named outstanding breeder. It was the Ramseys second Eclipse as top owner after winning in 2004. Stronach, under either his own name or the Adena banner, was collecting his eighth Eclipse as the leading breeder. In the jockey categories, Kyle Frey was named top apprentice, while Ramon Dominguez took home his second straight Eclipse as the nation's most outstanding rider.
