Trainer Peter Moody yesterday confirmed the G1 Goodwood at Morphettville May 12 as the definite target for Black Caviar (Aus) (Bel Esprit {Aus}). There is a chance that the unbeaten star could head first to the Apr. 29 G1 Sportingbet Classic at that venue, but connections have yet to decide on that option. “She'll have a spin around at Caulfield on Tuesday morning,” Moody told racingandsports.com.au. “We're very positive for Adelaide. I would say we'll definitely be in the Goodwood. It's a just a matter of deciding on the option of the Sportingbet Classic beforehand.” After the Morphettville race or races, where Black Caviar will attempt to set a new Australasian record of 20 consecutive wins, she will ship to England to prepare for Royal Ascot's G1 Diamond Jubilee S. June 23 and G1 July Cup at Newmarket July 14.
