GIII Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati S. winner Black Onyx (Rock Hard Ten) has been scratched from Saturday’s GI Kentucky Derby. Black Onyx drew the one gate in Wednesday’s post position draw. Stewards have decided that the one slot in the starting gate will be left open and the remaining 19 horses in the field will start from the post positions they drew.
