Triple Group 1 winner Ortensia (Aus) (Testa Rossa {Aus}) has been retired. Successful in the G1 Winterbottom S., G1 Al Quoz Sprint and G1 Nunthorpe S. , the Paul Messara trainee had finished unplaced in Saturday's Listed Ortensia S. at Scone and the conditioner tweeted, “Today we say goodbye to Ortenisa. A great mare for our stable. Eleven starts for us, three Group 1s in three countries, one Group 2 and a Listed race. Ortensia has a new job now as a mum.” She retires with a total of 13 wins from 37 starts and £1,419,881 in prize money.
