BHA Set To Charge Butler Over Use of Sungate

Newmarket trainer Gerard Butler is likely be charged for the use of the drug “Sungate”, which contains the banned steroid stanozolol, the British Horseracing Authority announced today. While the circumstances surrounding the administering of the substance differ from those involving Mahmood Al Zarooni, the ruling body has outlined the likelihood of action against the conditioner as part of a wide-ranging investigation into its use across the town.
