Richard Hannon To Hand Over Training Licence

Richard Hannon, who secured a fifth British trainerís title earlier this month, is to hand over the reins to son Richard Jr on Jan. 1, according to Racing Post. Hannon Sr had hinted such a change was imminent throughout the year and had recently notified the stableís owners of his intentions. ìIt has been a long career and Iíve trained a lot of winners, but itís about time that Richard [Jr] got his name on the roster of trainers,î Hannon told the trade daily.
