American Pharoah Filly Brings $1.2 Million from Coolmore

Coolmore went to $1.2 million to secure a well-related filly by Triple Crown winner American Pharoah out of Pretty 'n Smart (Beau Genius) at KEESEP Tuesday.
The chestnut is a half-sister to GISW Cupid (Tapit); MGSW Heart Ashley (Lion Heart); GSW Ashley's Kitty (Tale of the Cat); and SW Indianapolis (Medaglia d'Oro).
M.V. Magnier also went to $2.7 million to purchase this filly's sale-topping half-sister by Tapit at last year's KEESEP Sale.
Bred in Kentucky by Turner Breeders, Hip 306 was consigned by VanMeter-Gentry Sales, Agent XXIII.
