Son of Commands Tops Hong Kong International Sale

A son of Commands (Aus) fetched the highest price at the Hong Kong International Sale today, bringing HK$5.2 million (US$670,017) from Wong Shing Ngai. The dark bay is out of Oh So Discreet (Aus) (Bluebird), making him a half to Group 1 winner Maybe Discreet (Aus) (Shamardal) and a three-quarter to Group 3 winner Just Discreet (Aus) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}). Lot 10 was purchased by the Hong Kong Jockey Club for NZ$425,000 (US$362,567) at the NZB Premier Yearling Sale last January.
