AL SHAQAB BUYS SHARE IN RULER OF THE WORLD
Sheikh Joaan Al Thaniís Al Shaqab Racing has purchased a share in G1 Dubai World Cup entrant and last yearís G1 Investec Derby winner Ruler of the World (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}). Al Shaqab now owns Ruler of the World with Mrs. John Magnier, Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith. Ruler of the World will continue to be trained by Aidan O'Brien and ridden by his son, Joseph, who will wear the Al Shaqab silks. Ruler of the World, who was last seen finishing third in the G1 Qipco Champion S. Oct. 19, will stand at Coolmore upon retirement from racing.
