Ian Penrose has been engaged as a senior business advisor for Weatherbys, the company announced on Tuesday. Penrose, previously Chief Executive of Arena Leisure (now ARC) for seven years beginning in 1998, was also a Chief Executive at Sportech for 12 years. Besides his Weatherbys appointment, Penrose is a non-executive director of Playtech PLC, non-executive chairman of the National Football Museum and an advisor to the Alizeti Group.
“Ian's experience, knowledge and contacts will prove invaluable to the business and we look forward to him working with our team,” said Weatherbys Chairman Johnny Weatherby.
