Encore! The “Oscar Performance” sundae made its debut on the new menu at Ouita Michel's Honeywood Restaurant in Lexington Monday night. A fresh-baked chocolate and toffee brownie served with whipped cream gelato and crushed peppermint, the Oscar Performance is, says the menu, “a tribute to the local Breeders' Cup champion and world record holder at a mile.”

Double Dan Horsemanship is well-regarded in the performance horse world for their specialization in the art of liberty work. There is one Thoroughbred on their team who serves as an ambassador for the Thoroughbred breed. Ozzie represents the farm during tours and clinics and has even starred on television.
United was as competitive as they come on the racetrack, collecting seven graded stakes wins. After retirement, his owners LNJ Foxwoods kept the gelding with their family and he now serves as an ambassador for Thoroughbred aftercare.
