The Tattersalls Ascot Breeze Up Sale, set for Apr. 1, has drawn 95 juveniles that will be again eligible for the £100,000 Ascot Breeze Up Bonus for winning any one of the six 2-year-old contests at Royal Ascot.
Last year's sale produced four listed-winning 2-year-olds from just 78 offered: Flaming Princess (Ire) (Hot Streak {Ire}), Lorelei Rock (Ire) (Camacho {GB}), Cacciante (Ire) (Night of Thunder {Ire}) and Summer Sands (GB) (Coach House {Ire}), the latter of which was also third in the G1 Middle Park S.
This year's catalogue includes the progeny of accomplished sires like Acclamation (GB), Bated Breath (GB), Dandy Man (Ire), Footstepsinthesand (GB), Holy Roman Emperor (Ire), Iffraaj (GB), Kodiac (GB), No Nay Never, Showcasing (GB) and Starspangledbanner (Aus). Exciting second-year sires represented include Cable Bay (Ire) and Due Diligence, while the freshman crop includes Awtaad (Ire), Belardo (Ire), Fascinating Rock (Ire), New Bay (GB), Twilight Son (GB) and Vadamos (Fr).
