Keeneland Tweaks September Format

Keeneland announced slight format changes to its September yearling sale Friday via an email to participants from its Vice President of Racing and Sales Bob Elliston.
“Many of you received session assignments for the September Sale earlier this week and received news that we've made a slight tweak to the sale schedule after finalizing entries and hip numbers,” Elliston explained. “As we previously shared with you, the sale will begin on Sunday, Sept. 13, to accommodate the record number of entries to the sale for 2020.”
The adjusted Keeneland September format is as follows:
Sunday, Sept. 13 – Book 1 – 225 Hips
Monday, Sept. 14 – Book 1 – 225 Hips
Tuesday, Sept. 15 – Dark Day
Wednesday, Sept. 16 – Book 2 – 385 Hips
Thursday, Sept. 17 – Book 2 – 385 Hips
Friday, Sept. 18 – Book 3 – 400 Hips
Saturday, Sept. 19 – Book 3 – 400 Hips
Sunday, Sept. 20 – Book 4 – 400 Hips
Monday, Sept. 21 – Book 4 – 400 Hips
Tuesday, Sept. 22 – Book 5 – 380 Hips
Wednesday, Sept. 23 – Book 5 – 380 Hips
Thursday, Sept. 24 – Book 6 – 380 Hips
