Pussycat Doll followed in the footsteps of her dam Hookedonthefeelin when winning the GI La Brea S. as a three-year-old. She nearly matched her achievement in the sales ring as well. Hookedonthefeelin was a hit at this sale last year, going to Jess Jacksonﾒs Stonestreet Stable for $2.9 million. Pussycat Doll, consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, attracted a final bid of $2.3 million yesterday. The four-year-old, who took the GI Humana Distaff H. and GI Santa Monica H. this term, was purchased by Roy and Gretchen Jackson. The Jacksons have not yet decided if Pussycat Doll will continue to race or be retired. Later in the session, the Jackson's Lael Stable, with Nicoma as agent, went to $1.2 million to get MGSW & MGISP Valbenny (Ire) (Val Royal (Val Royal {Fr}). The racing/broodmare prospect was offered by Three Chimneys Sales.
