A colt by Monsun (Ger) out of a half-sister to the dam of European superstar Manduro (Ger) (Monsun {Ger}) brought a final bid of 450,000gns from Demi O'Byrne at yesterday's final session of the Tattersalls December Foal Sale. Manduro was undefeated in five starts this year, with wins in the G1 Prince of Wales's S., G1 Prix d'Ispahan and G1 Prix Jacques Le Marois, before an injury ended his career.
