A gray colt by Langfuhr, who worked a world-record furlong in :9 3/5 during Monday's under tack show, attracted a final bid of $700,000 during the opening session of the Keeneland April sale in Lexington Tuesday. Stonestreet's Jess Jackson, flanked by bloodstock agent John Moynihan, made the winning bid. The juvenile is a half brother to GII Fountain of Youth S. winner Cool Coal Man (Mineshaft).
